Charity begins on the golf course at the Shell Houston Open.  You can make Spring Branch Family Development Center a big winner by participating in the Birdies for Charity® .  That's because Spring Branch Family Development Center will receive every single penny collected from our pledge drive.  It is expected that between 1,500 -1,800 birdies will be made by the PGA TOUR Pros Wednesday through Sunday during the tournament.  That number could change due to inclement weather.

How You can be a Winner

  • Simply pledge one (1¢) cent or more per birdie

                            Or

  • Make a donation of $20.00 or more

                                           Do this and...

  • Have a chance to win the Grand Prize of a 2008 Buick Enclave - courtesy of General Motors/Buick Motor Division that will be awarded to the person who comes closest  guessing the exact number of birdies

Contest Rules

  • Only 1 grand prize awarded on May 22, 2008.  Winner must take delivery of automobile.  No cash option.

  • Ties and other prizes determined by random drawing.

  • Judges' decision final.

  • All guesses must be on an official pledge form.

  • It is the designated/inviting charity's responsibility to input  pledges/guesses for the program.

  • The HGA is not responsible for data entry.

  • If one or more days of the Shell Houston Open are cancelled, the birdie count substituted for those days will be: Wed. - 200, Thurs. - 500, Fri. - 500, Sat. - 300, and Sun. - 300.

You can call the Center and request that pledge forms be mailed directly to you, or you can complete the Pledge form below and we will input the information for you with Houston Golf Association on your behalf, and send you confirmation of the form via mail.  You can complete as many pledge forms as you would like.
